We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our catering team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our chefs during the busy tarding sessions as well as being involved in prep routine. We're looking for somoene who'll be interested to be train up to the chef level.
Duties:
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing meats, and making sauces
- Help set up and clean up catering events
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Ensure that the kitchen is clean and organized
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
Experience:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities
