Applications are invited for the post of foundation year 2 or equivalent in Medicine for the Elderly at University College London Hospital. We are looking for an enthusiastic and resourceful individual to join our well-established and dedicated team. We provide acute frailty services and community support for older people, inpatient and outpatient services, liaison for older people in other specialties across the Trust. We are committed to high quality patient care and developing innovative service models and as a teaching hospital have a strong interest in teaching, training and research. In the next year, we anticipate further development of our acute frailty service, rapid access and specialist outpatient services, at an exciting time for the department.

This post’s purpose is to provide broad general medical experience at FY2 level or equivalent) and offer excellent opportunities to develop skills in education, management or research. Previous academic experience is not required.

We are looking for someone who is curious, open-minded and keen to learn. You will be enthusiastic about elderly medicine and looking after people. You will be flexible, considerate and a good communicator. We will try to help you reach your full potential and will offer career guidance and support.
