Relief work offers ultimate flexibility - with no obligation to accept shifts you can fit your work around your personal commitments.

  • Rather than accruing annual leave this is paid on top of your hourly rate as you work, so you get an additional 12.07% for every hour you work. Your base rate of pay is £10.42 per hour so your total hourly rate is £10.42 + 12.07% = £11.68 per hour.

About Person We Support:

We have a social lady in her 60's who loves drives out in her own vehicle, meals out, seeing friends and family and visiting new placed such as museums or coastal areas.

She has a learning disability, a physical disability and need our help to support them in a supported living home.

You will also need to provide emotional reassurance when experiencing behaviours of distress - full positive behaviour support training is provided but previous experience is essential.

A chatty, outgoing support worker with a good sense of humour would be a wonderful match.

What will I be doing?

  • You will be supporting them to live their lives how they choose, to be themselves, and to achieve their goals
  • You will be supporting with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, budgeting, cooking, cleaning and laundry.

Shift Pattern:

  • Long Day Sleep ins: 9am-9am the following day (£45 sleep-in shift included)
  • Sleep in shifts cover hours between: 10pm -8am
  • Additional 1:1 shifts throughout the week
  • Rotas are provided 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work life balance.
