General Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)

£350 - £400 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications )

About the role

This small and welcoming, one-form entry primary school in Birkenhead, are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and driven Teaching Assistant to support across the whole school where required. This full-time roll starts in September and will be ongoing until the end of the next academic year in July 2024. The school has a diverse community and recognise and respect their differences, celebrating all of their strengths and achievements.

About the school

They pride themselves on their strong relationships and family atmosphere. Through the guidance and support of skilled staff, children and families are given a range of tools to develop independence and build resilience. It is these skills along with a safe learning environment that enable their families to grow and flourish. The school offers an array of before and after school clubs and was judged to be 'Good' in their last Ofsted report prior to Covid-19.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of General Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Experience of working with primary school aged children
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
