THE JOB:
As our Online Customer Service Advisor, you will be providing the best care for our customers, both over the phone, via email, and through our social media channels. To put it simply, the most important part of your role is to ensure that all customers leave delighted with our products and your service. Your responsibilities will be:

  • Responding to Inquiries: Handling incoming customer inquiries through various channels, such as phone calls, emails, live chat, or social media, and providing accurate and timely information.
  • Problem Resolution: Addressing and resolving customer complaints, concerns, or issues effectively and efficiently, aiming to provide satisfactory solutions.
  • Product/Service Knowledge: Developing a deep understanding of the company's products or services to assist customers with inquiries, troubleshooting, and making recommendations.
  • Order Processing: Assisting customers with placing orders, processing transactions, and ensuring accurate billing and shipping information.
  • Complaint Handling: Documenting customer interactions, complaints, and resolutions accurately in the company's systems to maintain a comprehensive record.
  • Cross-Selling and Upselling: Identifying opportunities to promote additional products or services that align with the customer's needs and preferences

THE PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
  • Active with an obvious passion for sport
  • Proven experience in online customer service management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging customer situations
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English and excellent written communication

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Our operating hours at our Decathlon UK campus are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, and you might be required to work on some Saturdays from 9 am to 12 pm. This role requires you to work in our office located at 9 Maritime St, London SE16 7FU.
