Shift Manager
Terrace Goods is a full-service restaurant and bar in the Sheffield area. We are a dynamic team of passionate individuals who are dedicated to providing our guests with an unforgettable experience. We serve a wide variety of menu items that will satisfy any palate and are committed to offering high quality food and beverages. We also offer a rotating menu of alcoholic beverages that are offered to the team as well. We are looking for a Shift Manager to join our team and assist with day-to-day operations.
Job Description:
- Manage daily shift operations
- Ensure that food and beverage products are prepared in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Ensure that all safety standards are met
- Maintain a positive attitude and work with a team to help others
- Maintain a clean job site at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers. This includes ability to speak clearly, listen clearly, understand instructions, follow directions and communicate effectively.
- Must be able to work safely around food and/or beverage products. This includes handling food and/or beverage products that may be contaminated or contaminated, complying with cleaning procedures, handling materials that may become contaminated, maintaining good housekeeping standards.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This includes both high energy and staying calm under pressure.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time. This includes standing for extended periods of time and walking up stairs.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £11.00-£11.50 per hour
