Timetabling Officer (0.5FTE / 18.5 hours per week) [United Kingdom]


 

The University has an experienced centralised timetabling and space resource management team which meets the needs of the three colleges and their constituent academic departments. We are seeking a timetabler to work in our team.

We provide support and guidance in the creation of timetables to meet the needs of different modules, courses, student, staff and room allocations.

As this role involves close and collaborative working relationships with college and directorate staff, you will have excellent communication skills enabling you to effectively advise customers.
Excellent planning and prioritisation skills are essential to this role to facilitate the cyclical nature of the work involved.

We use a timetabling database specific to higher education. Therefore experience of timetabling processes and software are desirable but not essential. Ongoing training and support will also be given.

The role is data focused; therefore, you should be able to demonstrate experience of carrying out a range of administration or timetabling activities, including gathering and maintaining large data sets, with a high level of accuracy.
