About Verdant
Verdant began life back in Autumn 2014 when homebrewers Adam and James teamed up with Rich to craft US-inspired beers that weren’t available locally. Since then the team has continued to grow alongside the demand for our beer! Over the past few years we’ve become synonymous with hop-forward beer styles including pale ale, India pale ale (IPA) and double IPA (DIPA). Our ethos revolves around brewing the flavour-packed beers we love to drink, and ensuring that beer lovers across the U.K. have access to delicious, quality-driven releases week after week.
Job Purpose
An exciting opportunity has come about to join the Web team at Verdant. We are looking for someone to take on the day to day responsibilities of working alongside the current Web team.
Person Specification
- Experience working in warehouse environment is essential
- Experience working within craft beer a bonus, but not essential
- Living in Cornwall or a willingness to relocate
- Able bodied, hard working and punctual
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A team player who can complete tasks in a timely fashion, while staying positive and approachable
- Ability to prioritise and work under deadlines whilst maintaining a customer-focused approach
- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and with consistency
- Open minded and passionate about the growth and development of the role and the company
- IT skills
- Attention to detail
- A passion for hoppy beer!
Duties and Responsibilities
- Picking, Packing, and overseeing the order building process.
- Logistics, understand DPD procedures, handling the logistics of local and national orders and collections.
- Prep work for the next day, consolidating pallets, box making, product making, processing Merchandise, stock control.
- E-commerce understanding ( Zenstores & Shopify )
- Customer focused service, Emails, sorting problems.
- Assisting in Managing stock rotation and reporting
- Assisting in Reporting data to the Webshop manager and helping improve our workflow.

- Maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the Webshop area.
