At The George hotel Penrith we are seeking enthusiastic and friendly Food & Beverage Assistants to join the team. Our dining areas and bars offers a casual dining experience to guests, serving breakfast lunch and evening meals, as well as catering for meetings and events in our function suites.
We are seeking colleagues who will ensure everyone receives a friendly welcome, great service and a delicious dining experience, so they can't wait to come back again. As we are a small team you will have the opportunity to gain experience the food and bar side also in functions, weddings and events.
This is an exciting opportunity with a variation of shifts throughout the week subject to business levels. We serve food and drinks 7 days per week and this role will include morning, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts.
Our Ideal Applicant:
- Prior waiting or bar experience (but not essential as training will be given)
- An outgoing personality and not afraid to engage with customers
- High standard of personal presentation
- Be reliable, hard-working and passionate

- Build relationships with fellow team members and deliver high standards of Customer Service to our guests.
- Maintain a clean and organised work place
- Perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks
