Jobstore are recruiting for Picking and Packing Operatives to join our clients leading warehousing and distribution operation in Oldham.
Working 08.30am to 17.00pm Monday to Friday you will be required to support the warehouse operation in a range of picking and packing responsibilities. The right candidates will be given great temp to perm opportunities with additional training in the future.
You will be required to
Select product from allocated bays
Working accurately from pick lists and selecting the appropriate stock from the Warehouse for loading and distribution.
Prepare products according to customer specifications
Build boxes and pack the product in a safe and secure method
Print labels and ensure the stock is being shipped correctly
Pallet wrapping goods for dispatch
You must have good communication skills, have a great eye for detail and be able to follow instructions throughout the day.
We are looking for candidates with a good work background in Picking and Packing duties. A good reliable work attitude and the ability to get on with others at all times is essential.
Some heavy lifting will be required, so you will need to be physically fit with a hardworking and focused, proactive attitude. Some dexterous work is also required so you must also be able to work with smaller products and stock IT allocation systems Previous pick experience is essential.
