Every childhood is worth fighting for. This is our belief. It drives us. And it motivates us to maintain our position as an influential, informed and forceful voice at every level. Join us as Senior Specialist Content Writer and lead progress that means more.

We are seeking a Senior Specialist Content Writer to manage and produce evidence-based content about safeguarding and child protection for the NSPCC Learning website. You'll be managing a team of specialist content writers to deliver our content plan, producing a range of different types of content, including blogs, briefings and topic pages, to help professionals keep children safe. You'll also work closely with colleagues across the NSPCC to ensure our existing content remains accurate and up to date.

You will work in our busy Knowledge and Information team, which seeks out and disseminates child protection information to anyone who works or volunteers with children - from social workers and teachers to nursery workers and scout leaders

You should have:

  • demonstrable experience of carrying out desk research, synthesising complex information from a range of sources
  • an ability to translate research into web content that is clear, concise and easy to understand
  • attention to detail, following brand guidelines, proofreading and reviewing your own work and the work of others
  • excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to liaise with multiple stakeholders
  • a commitment to keeping children safe
  • experience of managing a team to deliver work on time and to the required standard.

This is a hybrid-working role, with at least two days per week in the London office and working from home for the remainder of the week. It is a full-time, permanent position.

If you have any queries about this role, please contact us at information@nspcc.org.uk

Join us and you'll become part of a team that cares about the work they do and the people they work with. You'll discover opportunities to grow, along with challenges and a shared purpose that'll bring the best out in you. And you'll get to find your own way to make a difference that means more, and that impacts millions of young lives.
